Building
systems
that matter.
I'm Daniel Valdivia — I design and build the infrastructure layer that cloud-native applications depend on. Kubernetes, distributed storage, AI/ML pipelines. From Guadalajara to San Francisco. 3 patents, 15+ talks, 10+ years of engineering.
A bit about me
Hey, I'm Daniel. I love software and everything involved in making it work — from Neural Networks and AI/ML pipelines to Distributed Systems and Cloud infrastructure, all the way down to Mobile and Web UI.
I'm a software engineer from Guadalajara, Mexico, currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area. At MinIO, I built cloud-native infrastructure including the Kubernetes Operator, management Console, and enterprise storage architecture.
Outside of engineering, I explore tech history through books and artifacts, shoot film on my Leica, and rarely pass up a chance to talk technology over coffee.

Let's connect
I'm open to thoughtful conversations about cloud-native architecture, AI/ML infrastructure, distributed systems, open source, and whatever you're building that's hard and interesting.
Based in the SF Bay Area, but always reachable online.
