Building the infrastructure layer that makes everything else possible. At MinIO, I designed Kubernetes-native storage at scale. From Guadalajara to the San Francisco Bay Area, 3 US patents and 15+ conference talks later.
About
Hey, I'm Daniel. I love software and everything involved to make it work — from Neural Networks, AI/ML pipelines, and Distributed Systems, down to Mobile and Web UI. Cloud infrastructure is my native habitat, but I'm just as comfortable digging into the product UX.
At MinIO, I built the Kubernetes Operator, management Console, and enterprise storage architecture — the plumbing that lets cloud-native teams run object storage at any scale, anywhere.
conducted R&D at ServiceNow and Oracle.
Holds B.Eng. in Computer Technologies from ITESM.
Outside engineering, I explore tech history through books and museums, capture moments on film with my Leica, and will always say yes to a good technology conversation.
